Cities

Impressive, breathtaking and majestic.

Amberg

Outstanding churches, towers, historical buildings and, last but not least the city wall from the late middle-age are still witnesses from the almost thousand years-old history of Amberg. Amberg belongs to the “Bayerische Eisenstrasse” (Bavarian Iron Road) and it is part of the district of Amberg-Sulzbach. A guided tour through the city will point out the unique mixture of history and modern age.

Or what about a boat trip on the Vils, the lifeline of Amberg? Straight from the water gateway of the old city wall, the” Stadtbrille”, you will get a wonderful view on the breathtaking parks of the surroundings.
